Timmy didn’t just win; he soared to the top among 50 coffee retailers and 357 competitors, proving once again that excellence is in his espresso. This isn't just any accolade—it's the coffee Olympics of the airport world, where skills are tested, hearts race, and the aroma of ambition fills the air. And guess what? Timmy nailed it, elevating our beloved Soul Origin brand to new heights!
Brewing Up Success
The Melbourne Airport Excellence Awards are no walk in the park (or should we say, no leisurely sip of a latte?). With 14 categories celebrating the crème de la crème of the airport community, the competition is fierce. Only one barista from each store gets the chance to compete in this caffeine-fuelled showdown.
Timmy dazzled the judges with his espresso excellence, milk-based magic, and latte art wizardry. His handcrafted creations were judged on taste balance, flavour accuracy, and tactile qualities. For the latte art, it was all about identity and execution—and our guy Timmy made sure his designs were a sight to behold!

This isn’t Timmy’s first rodeo. In fact, it marks his second major win in just six months. Earlier this year, he was named the Soul Origin Barista Champion 2023. Now, he's taken it to the international stage, proving that when it comes to coffee, he's got it down to a fine art.
